Chia Seeds Cultivation: • Soil – Light to medium clay and sandy soils, p H: 6-8, welldrained, moderately fertile soils. • Temperature – Minimum – 11 °C, Maximum – 36 °C.
Optimum temperature range -16-26 °C• Sowing Season – Rabi (1st October to 15thDecember)• Seed – 1.5 – 2 kg per hectare
• Seed Treatment – Trichoderma 4g / kg seed• Sowing Distance – 45 x 30 cm, sowing depth – 1.5cm• Irrigation – 2 to 6 irrigation depending on the climate,rainfall, and growth stage. Chia plants are droughttolerant and can thrive with minimal water. • Harvesting – 90-120 days
• Yield – 10-12.5 quintal per hectare
