Shri. Murudeshwar Temple Risod (Rithad)
The name of the village Rithad was earlier Riddhpu, when Ram was roaming in search of Sita, at that time, the Hemadpanthi priests in the temple of the former Ram performed Abhishek after performing Abhishek and falling out, at this time the idol slipped its mouth (i.e., turned around), hence the name of this temple was named Mudeshwar . This is the only east-facing idol in the history.
In the past, the search team in Ayodhya kept a record of the places where Ram visited, and the search team made a record of the places where Ram’s shoes were given from Ayodhya to the place where Ram’s shoes were given.
The map of the place where the Ramana was circumambulated has been prepared by the Ayodhya site search team. The place Rithad in Washim district is mentioned in the map as 71. The name Riddhapur over time it came to be known as Rithad of Riddhapur . Since the Hemadpanthi temple was built, the village community renovated the temple without moving the original idol.
