- Purpose: The museum was established to preserve and promote the legacy of the Banjara community, including its leaders, historical movements, and artifacts.
- Galleries: It features thirteen galleries with historical exhibits that depict the Banjara way of life.
- Statue: A 150-foot Sevadhwaj (flagpole) with an equestrian statue of Sant Sevalal Maharaj is a prominent feature.
- Light and Music Show: The museum offers a daily light and music laser show in the evening.
- Inauguration: The museum was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India on October 5, 2024
